CLASSIC WIRING

Using New Old Stock OE looms may seem the answer to curing electrical ailments on an older bike, but is that really the answer?

OE looms were never made with the best quality materials when new, plus copper’s own chemistry sees it case harden over time. The plastic insulation will also yield its best performance to time by going brittle and breaking down.

Even if a loom is unused new old stock (NOS) if it’s been on the shelf for a number of years it’s still not a guarantee you’ll see the kind of performance and reliability that you’d expect from a new loom.

It may be original equipment, but does it offer reliable performance?

It may be original equipment, but does it still offer reliable performance?

What we can do is to recreate your loom using modern materials that will work better than an OE new old stock item, and for many more years to come.

Our modern thinwall wires are a classic example of lighter, higher rated and more flexible material which can be put to good use in our classic looms.

If your classic needs any kind of electrical attention, give us a call!
